We will do our best to detail all of the major events and those more off-beat events that are happening here in Puerto Rico. The events listed in this section are based on information obtained from online as well as local media. Local artists and artisans gather at Plaza Danza

The annual Ponce carnival is the oldest and also one of the biggest celebrations on the island. This year the carnival celebrates its 152nd year. Music, dance parades and lots of local food

The town of Naguabo holds its annual festival featuring foods made using the traditional "chapín" (a local fish. Other events include a boat regatta and various contests.

Annual carnival held in honor of the local Indian chieftain Mabó. There will be parades, local music, food and artist exhibits and food kiosks. The carnival ends with the Entierro de la Sardina (Burial of the Sardine).
