Still VERY ACTIVE here in the Caribbean. Tropical Storm Gaston needs to be watched as it makes it way west towards Puerto Rico. As with all Tropical Storms it is best to keep an eye on the latest forecasts and you can stay up to date on TS Gaston at our weather page as well as at the NHC

Three Kings Celebration in Puerto Rico

On Sunday January3, 2010 the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico (MAPR) is having a FREE Three Kings Celebration. This is an event for the whole family that includes: gift decorating, storytelling, kiosks and not forgetting the Three Kings.

Program Details:

11:30 – 4:00pm Gift box decorating for the Three Kings (1st floor workshop)

12:00 – 2:00pm Presentation of the Three Kings (Raúl Juliá Theater)

2:00 pm Guided walk of the permanent collection of MAPR ( 3rd and 4th floor, historic building)

2:00 pm – 3:00pm ‘De Morivivi’ show (Botanical Garden sculpture platform)

2:30 – 4:00pm Presentation of the Three Kings (Raúl Juliá Theater)

3:00pm Storytelling ‘Here they come the Magi’ by Georgina Lázaro, Enrique Velez and narrated by Peter Thompson (Botanical Garden sculpture platform)

4:00 – 5:00pm Musical Group ‘Workshop Criollo’ (Botanical Garden sculpture platform)
