I am very happy that everything went well with no incidents,and especially happy because my daughter was enlisted into the airforce by the captain of the thunderbirds.I am from Ceiba,Puerto Rico.[El Indio].Que viva mi tierra.

For those interested (from Google Translate):
Aerial displays started around noon. Before that there are static displays to look around. No beer or coolers can be taken in (I think). Recommended to take chairs and umbrella as sun was very hot. The Thunderbirds display started around 4:15pm.

Estuvo bueno, los distintos espectaculos aereos comienzan a las 12:00, antes lo que hay es exhibicion de distintos aviones y elicopteros y acrobacias de aviones a control remoto..no se puede llevan neverita, ni cervezas, ni fumar..adentro hay una ath..hay unas motoras que te dejan probar..lleven silla y sombrilla porque el sol estaba tremendo…la gente se sienta debajo de los aviones y con todo y eso me di una quemada tremenda..yo estuve de 9 a 5..los Thunderbirds es el ultimo show que es como a las 4:10 de la tarde

Llamé a TicketPop y los tickets se pueden recoger desde las 7:30 am en la Base. Espero q no haya problemas aunque haya fila. Llevaré la neverita aunque la tenga q dejar en la guagua. Alguien fue hoy sábado? para q cuente cómo estuvo.

By my experience attending others airshows including the ones on the USA, no coolers are permited at the premisses of the show. remember bussiness is bussiness. yes you can bring some chairs to be able to sit and enyoy the show and for the price of the tickets, I think its to much and this is not including the fee for the parking, so if you are planning to attend this event make sure to have extra bucks ( $$$$$$$ ) with you to eat/drink in the area because most of the meals are expensive… to bad. Hoped who ever goes enyoy the show and behave, please………………

@Luis – I can’t find out any info on times for ths show. Sorry

@Jerry – no idea about taking a cooler, but no harm in having one with you and asking at the gate

@Israel – as the comments above state. Even in the USA some Air Shows with the Thunderbirds and other military displays are NOT FREE. From what I can tell it depends on where the event is held. If it is on a military base, it will more than likely be free. On private area then there is a charge. So here in Puerto Rico they are not doing anything that is not done in the States.

But like I have mentioned above. I’m sure there will be places to view the show from outside the airport.
