2009 San Sebastian Street Festival Jan 15 – 18
This years Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastian (San Sebastian Street Festival) takes place from Thursday Jan 15 until Sunday Jan 18.
As usual Old San Juan and in particular Calle de San Sebastian will be rocking to this annual street party. Daytime hours will see parades of locals wearing traditional Puerto Rican masks (vejigantes). As the sun sets the parades morph into one large street party with live music from local artists and people dancing in the streets to salsa, merengue and much more.
You can find the itinerary at El Nuevo Dia (in Spanish, but will give you an idea)
