Prime Outlets Puerto Rico

If you have some time to kill and you like the idea of saving $SS when it comes to buying clothes etc. then one option is to head west of San Juan, to the Prime Outlets mall at Barceloneta. . The drive west on Expressway 22 takes around 45 - 60mins (with one toll), but could be more depending on traffic. With it’s close proximity to Arecibo you could combine a trip with a visit to Arecibo Observatory or the Camuy Cave System.
The Barceloneta Prime Outlets is one of two outlet malls on the island (the other is the Beltz outlet mall located at Canovaries on Rte 3). The Prime Outlets site has just recently completed a $41M expansion phase and now offers over 70 different merchants.
The mall is designed on the typical Prime Outlets village style architecture rather than an indoor mall, that includes a food court as well as restaurants across from the main entrance to the mall.
You will find stores in the following categories:
Designer Apparel and Sportswear
Shoes
Children’s
Luggage and Leather
Home Fashions
Jewelry and Accessories
Specialty
Restaurants and Eateries
The mall has the usual suspects when it comes to outlet shopping including: Adidas, Anne Taylor, Coach, Clarks Bostonian, Gap, Liz Claiborne, Nautica and many more.
You will also find: Caribbean Cinemas, Chili’s Bar & Grill, Ruby Tuesday’s, as well as Banco Popular.
