Puerto Rico International Auto Show - Oct 20 - Nov 2, 2008

This years Puerto Rico International Auto show (PRIAS) has opened in Plaza Las Americas. The show runs from October 20 - Nov 2, 2008 ands takes place throughout the ground floor of Plaza Las Americas.

This years event will feature 80 cars and trucks from 19 manufacturers; Buick, Cadillac, GMC, Pontiac, Chevrolet, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Honda, Suzuki, Hyundai, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Saab, Toyota and Scion.. As well as the chance to see some of the upcoming 2009 models there will be hybrid and concept cars too.

This is the first time that visitors will also have the opportunity to test drive some models. The organizers have reserved an area on the 5th floor of the multi-storey car park near Macy’s for test drives. With an estimated 1.5M people expected to visit Plaza during the show, the lines for a test drive might be quite long…

As well as the various cars on display, visitors to the show on the 25th October will have the chance to see Miguel Cotto , Puerto Rico’s very own boxing star at the Ford stand.
