What: Christmas in Paradise a Lifetime Movie Special
The movie is a collaboration between the Puerto Rico Tourism Company and Lifetime Television, with all of the scenes filmed on location here in Puerto Rico. This should be a great opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of Puerto Rico, without actually being here.
Christmas in Paradise stars Charlotte Ross who has appeared in ‘Beggars and
Choosers’ and Colin Ferguson the main actor in the TV series ‘Eureka’. The story revolves around two bereaved families that meet aboard a Caribbean Christmas cruise and end up in Puerto Rico enjoying the sights, sounds, tastes of the Christmas season in San Juan. In the movie you will see the families exploring the island, visiting Old San Juan, experiencing local Puerto Rico cuisine and enjoying all of the celebrations that take place here at Christmas.
As an added bonus the Puerto Rico Tourism Company and Lifetime Television are also running a Holiday Sweepstake, where you can win a trip to Puerto Rico. There is still time to enter and the winner will be chosen during the screening of the movie on December 15.

The movie “Christmas in Paradise” was aired by Lifetime TV on December 15.
I have been trying to find out when this movie is going to be shown again.

Absolutely LOVED this movie. When will it be on DVD?
The movie did show some of the highlights of Puerto Rico with the scenery etc.
It was just a shame they were not accurate on the traditions that take place here in Puerto Rico over the Christmas period.
Three Kings is not celebrated on Christmas Day (as it was portrayed in teh movie). It takes place on Jan 6 and is another magical time here in PR.
