Hi,

I have not taken the bus here in Puerto Rico, but from what I have found (fodors.com)
Bus B-21 runs through Condado all the way to Plaza Las Américas in Hato Rey.
Bus A-5 runs from San Juan through Santurce and the beach area of Isla Verde. Service starts at around 6 AM and generally continues until 9 PM. Fares are 50¢ or 75¢

Autoridad Metropolitana de Autobuses (PHONE: 787/767-7979)

Hope this helps

i'm staying in old san juan for 2 months, and for the life of me, i can't figure out how to take a bus to the beach. i don't really care which beach, but i'd love to go to the beach without spending a fortune on taxis or renting a car every other day.

any advice would be helpful.

thanks.
