Puerto Rico Salsa Competition
From July 22 – 28, 2007 at the Wyndham El San Juan Hotel in the Isla Verde, some of the best Salsa dance groups / couples from around the world will be showcasing their talents at the Annual Puerto Rico Salsa Congress. This is the 11th year that the competition has been held here in Puerto Rico.
The Annual Puerto Rico Salsa Congress was the very first salsa competition in the world and is the only competition to feature live music for the final. Last years champions were Oliver and Luda from Australia who will be there to defend their title.
This year music will be provided by El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Sonora Ponceña, Cano Estremera, Víctor Manuelle, Willie Rosario, Andy Montañez, Luisito Carrión, Puerto Rican Power, Son de Madre, La Criolla, Tres con Kaché, Puerto Rico Big Band and others to be announced.
