Puerto Rico Heineken JazzFest 2007
The annual Puerto Rico Heineken Jazzfest will be taking place at the Tito Puente Amphitheater in Old San Juan between May 31 and June 3. This annual Jazzfest brings together some of the biggest names in tropical and Latin jazz and is the premier jazz event in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
Puerto Rico has a rich musical culture and each year the Heineken Jazzfest attracts the top Jazz musicians. Included this year are; Dizzie Gillespie, Charlie Sepúlveda, the Michel Camilo Trio, Richie Gajate Garcia, James Moody Quartet, “Los Calvos” and many more.
This year’s line up is:
Thursday May 31:
8:00PM – Charlie Sepúlveda and the Turnaround with special guest Deddie Romero
9:30PM – Michel Camilo Trio
Friday June 1:
8:00PM – Richie Gajate Garcia and Friends
9:30PM – James Moody Quartet
11:00PM – Lee Ritanour & Friends
Saturday June 2:
8:00PM – “Los Calvos”
9:30PM – Ignacio Berroa Quartet
11:00PM – Dizzie Gillespie All Star Big Band
Sunday June 3:
5:00PM – Berklee in Puerto Rico Band
6:00PM – Koko Taylor & Her Blues Machine
7:30PM – Arturo Sandoval
