Heavy Rain Yesterday in Puerto Rico

It looks like almost 3.2 inches of rain fell yesterday (Sunday April 22) and I know because I was drining in it and it was not fun. This brings the total for the month of April to 5.5 inches, which is above average according to ‘Weather Underground’ which states the average is around 2.5 inches. We still have a few inches to go to beat last years total of 7.3 inches (hopefully we will not beat it). Unfortunately, the forcast for the rest of the week, does not look that promising.

The weather channel is predicting scattered thunder-storms for today until Thursday and then scattered showers on Friday. There is also cuurently a Flash Flood watch for several parts of Puerto Rico, including San Juan.

So if you are arriving this week or are already here, it looks like mother nature will not be cooperating for you. Hopefully you will still enjoy your visit to Puertoi Rico, even if the sun is not shining.
