2007 Hurricane Season Predictions

The weather experts appear to be predicting a busy hurricane season this year, with 17 named Atlantic storms of which 5 could be major.
The Tropical Meteorology Project at Colorado State University are stating that there is a 74 percent chance that at least one major hurricane would hit the U.S. coast this season. The hurricane season starts on June 1 and lasts until November 20. The US government will be releasing their predictions in May.
This Colorado team also predicted a busy season last year, which failed to materialize, but their track record is good, so they will probably be closer to the mark this year.
Here on this site we will do our best to keep you updated on the hurricane season as it happens.
