A Mexican Treat…. Margarita’s
If you are visiting the San Juan area of Puerto Rico and your taste buds desire some traditional mexican cuisine, then you should do yourself a favor and head to Margarita’s. They now have two locations; the original restaurant on Roosevelt Avenue and the newly opened location in Plaza las Americas.
Both locations serve mouth watering mexican food that is very much authentic. The menu is pretty extensive with traditional mexican dishes. I can highly recommend the chicken quesadilla’s, the chimichanga (deep fried burritto) and also the enchilada suise. The refried beans are also delicious.
Both locations are always busy and lively on a weekend with local mariachi bands playing throughout the evening. So if you are after some fun and mexican food; check this place out.
